How does Interval-Based Rotation work?

In standard sales portals, the rule "newest comes first" often applies, quickly pushing older ads into the background. Our portal uses a system that guarantees every horse a repeated chance to be noticed, regardless of when the ad was posted.

How the system works exactly

Our rotation system operates on a specific cycle to ensure fairness and variety:

  • 1. Interval set by Administrator The system administrator sets a specific time period (for example, 7 days). During this period, the order of ads remains unchanged.
  • 2. Shuffling the cards When the set interval expires, an automatic redistribution of ads takes place – a "reshuffling of the deck".
  • 3. New order After shuffling, ads get entirely new positions. A horse that was at the bottom of the page before can end up right at the top the next week. This does not depend on when the ad was originally listed.

Why is this system better than standard chronological ordering?

1. Won't disappear into a "black hole"
In a standard portal, an ad's lifespan is short. In our system, your ad doesn't sink into oblivion – at the end of every interval, it has a real chance to rise to the front page again without you needing to add a new photo.
2. A new chance every period
Your ad doesn't stagnate. Thanks to interval-based shuffling, your ad regularly gets a new position. Every shuffle is a new "draw" where all active ads have equal opportunities.
3. Less spamming
Sellers don't have to delete and re-add their ads or make empty edits just to "stay in the picture". You focus on quality; our system takes care of the visibility.

In summary: Our goal is to create an environment where every horse gets their moment in the spotlight. Interval-based rotation is a fair solution – new ads get their chance, but they never bury older valuable offers.
