How does the Eqithra Marketplace work?
Eqithra Marketplace is a platform that connects buyers and sellers of horse equipment. Unlike a regular store, transactions here occur directly between users. Eqithra provides the technical platform but is not a party to the sales contract.
Sellers must choose a suitable membership plan to add products, which determines how many products can be for sale at one time.
What are the seller's main responsibilities?
As a seller, you are responsible for ensuring your trading is fair and transparent. The main responsibilities are:
- Be honest and accurate: Describe the product thoroughly, mentioning all features as well as any potential flaws or defects.
- Sell your own property: Ensure you have the full right to own and resell the item.
- Ship the item promptly: Send the product to the buyer as soon as possible after receiving payment.
- Communicate politely: Respond to buyers' questions in a friendly and professional manner.

How does payment work?
On our platform, transactions occur directly between the buyer and the seller, ensuring fast and transparent settlement. Eqithra does not intermediate payments.
After confirming the order at checkout, the buyer is immediately shown the seller's bank details (name and account number) to make the payment. The same information is also sent to the buyer in the order confirmation email.
Can products be returned?
The return rules depend on who the seller is.
- Transaction between private individuals: If you buy from another private individual, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. A return is only possible if the buyer and seller mutually agree to it.
- Purchase from a company: If the seller is a legal entity (a company), then as a private buyer, you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and the 2-year right to file a claim.
All disputes and return-related questions must be resolved directly with the seller. Eqithra is an intermediary, not a party to the sales contract.
What am I not allowed to sell on the Marketplace?
It is strictly forbidden to sell the following items and engage in prohibited activities on the platform:
- Pirated goods, counterfeits, and products that violate intellectual property.
- Weapons, narcotics, hazardous materials, and other items prohibited by law.
- Stolen property.
How can I add my products for sale?
Adding products is a simple process, but it requires one important step. First, you must fill in the basic product information (name, description, price, etc.) and then save the product ("Save and stay"). Only after this initial save can you add images to the product.
After adding images and the final save, your product will be sent to our team for review and will be published as soon as possible.
